Conscious Connected Breath and 9D Breathwork

Conscious Connected Breath and 9D Breathwork

Breathwork has become increasingly popular in recent years, with many different styles emerging. One in particular seems to be getting especially recognised, and that is "9D Breathwork". Ive had a few people reach out recently and ask how my work compares.

Both the work I do, Conscious Connected Breathwork, and 9D breathwork share a common foundation.

Both 9D Breathwork and conscious connected breath use a continuous breathing pattern, a cyclic breath, without pauses. This style of breathwork is known to influence the nervous system, slow down the subconscious mind, increase body awareness, and support emotional and somatic release. In this sense, both approaches work with the same underlying breathwork technique.

Where they differ is in how the experience is guided and held.

9D Breathwork is a structured, technology-led breathwork modality. It combines conscious connected breathing with layered soundscapes, music, guided voice prompts, and sometimes subliminal affirmations. Sessions typically follow a pre-recorded format designed to take participants through a specific emotional or energetic arc. For some people, this highly immersive and sensory-rich experience feels supportive and powerful.

My work with conscious connected breath takes a more minimalist, intimate and relational approach. Sessions are guided live and respond to what is happening in your body and energy field in real time. Rather than adding layers of stimulation, the focus is on tracking the participant themselves and allowing the nervous system to regulate and unfold naturally. Adaptability, connection, and integration are important part of the process.

Both styles of breathwork can be beneficial, and neither is inherently better than the other. They meet different needs.

Some people are drawn to externally guided, high-sensory breathwork experiences like 9D Breathwork. Others feel safer and more supported with a slower, more embodied breathwork session that adapts moment by moment.

My intention is to support embodiment, nervous system safety, and a deeper connection with the breath that can lead to change in daily life.

If you are exploring breathwork, it can be helpful to notice not only what a particular modality offers, but how your body responds to the way it is guided, and whether or not you feel drawn to a particular facilitator. Breathwork is an intimate experience, so above all else, it's important you feel comfortable with your chosen guide.

So if deep transformation is what you seek, take note of what most aligns with you and your values, and should it be my work, don't hesitate to reach out.
